Turmeric Root Powder with 98% Curcumin is also our main product.We studied the process conditions for extracting curcumin from the plant turmeric, and studied the effects of raw material particle size, extraction pressure, extraction temperature and use of entrainers on the extraction rate of curcumin. Through research, we have obtained the best extraction process conditions for solvent extraction of curcumin: raw material particle size 5mm, extraction pressure 35MPa, extraction temperature 50°C, and entrainer usage amount 2700ml. The experimental results show that the use of solvents can effectively extract curcumin from turmeric, with an extraction rate of over 90%, and successful industrial production.
